This blog is dedicated to all would be mothers in their first trimester, First of all congratulations to you. This is your best moment ever, you are more beautiful and happy. Look back and see how was the journey so far. This is your time to bring new life in existence. Such proud moment it is. This coming time of 9 months will be not going to be easy for you. This will actually gonna change you a lot in all dimensions.
First trimester is very crucial, in these coming three months cells in your womb will plant themselves to convert into a fetus. You may face lot of discomfort but joy of this happiness will over come all. And now I am here here to help you too. 1- 12 weeks are important because in this time lot of changes will take place in mothers body, specially because of progesterone hormone. Many symptoms may arise including: nausea, Vomiting, Energy loss, lethargy, sleepiness, acidity, Constipation etc.
Fetus will develop face, nose, arms, legs and slowly hands and fingers, your subsequent ultrasound images will make you more content about this. As fetus grow very fast in this period and struggle with its survival too, a mother need extra care of her diet, workout, exertion etc. Stress is very common during this time, irritability is one of very prominent with mood swings like PMS. Would be fathers need to take care of their queens. So What are the key things need to be care about. Here I am to help you , your pregnancy and wellness consultant.
First thing is, in this trimester mother need proper rest. Plan a routine which should include Sleep time, Yoga and relaxation time, Meal time, Me time, family time, Partner time etc. Once you done it, second thing is diet and food. Nutrition is must and very important component to give priority. Plan healthy meals in case of acidity or other gastric issues small meals will help a lot. Focus on fruit and multi color vegetables. Include colors in your meal.
Rice, Wheat, legumes, pulses, vegetables all need to be included in Diet, do not confuse with quantity verse quality. You can eat less but eat variety. Cravings are very common in first trimester, eat healthy options try to make healthy meals and do experiments with recipes. Now a days its easy to get recipe, open you tube and you will get lot of videos. Many queries I get from mothers that, what do I eat in this time. In first trimester I advice to eat variety of food, eating colorful is easy way. Folic acid, Calcium, iron are few nutrients being stressed by us. But I believe, balance meal with good amount of different source of proteins, Carbs, good fats in form of dry fruits and vitamins and minerals from fruits and vegetables are all important. Eat what you love but make it healthy by cutting oil, fried, white sugar, Maida, and unhealthy drinks.
