5 Special Ayurvedic Detox Recipes that you can include in your Navratri Detox Plan to cleanse and rejuvenate your body naturally.

 

1. CCF Detox Tea (Cumin-Coriander-Fennel Tea)

Boosts digestion, reduces bloating, and enhances metabolism

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp coriander seeds
  • 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
  • 2 cups water
  • A pinch of rock salt (optional)

How to Prepare:

  1. Boil all the seeds in water for 5 minutes.
  2. Strain and drink warm.
  3. Have this tea twice daily to flush out toxins.

2. Neem & Tulsi Detox Drink

Purifies the blood, boosts immunity, and clears skin

Ingredients:

  • 5 fresh neem leaves
  • 5 fresh tulsi leaves
  • 1/2 tsp honey (optional)
  • 1 cup warm water

How to Prepare:

  1. Crush neem and tulsi leaves into a paste.
  2. Mix in warm water and strain.
  3. Add honey if needed and drink on an empty stomach.

3. Navratri Detox Kitchari (Mung Dal & Rice Cleanse)

Balances doshas, improves digestion, and provides gentle nourishment

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup yellow mung dal
  • 1/2 cup basmati rice (or samak rice for fasting)
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp ginger (grated)
  • 4 cups water
  • Rock salt as per taste

How to Prepare:

  1. Rinse mung dal and rice.
  2. In a pot, heat ghee and add cumin seeds and ginger.
  3. Add turmeric, rice, and dal, then pour in water.
  4. Cook on low flame for 20–25 minutes until soft.
  5. Serve warm with fresh coriander leaves.

4. Aloe Vera & Amla Detox Shot

Supports liver detox, strengthens hair & skin, and enhances immunity

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp fresh aloe vera gel
  • 1 amla (Indian gooseberry), chopped
  • 1/2 cup water
  • A pinch of black salt

How to Prepare:

  1. Blend all ingredients into a smooth juice.
  2. Strain and drink fresh in the morning on an empty stomach.

5. Warm Apple-Cinnamon Detox Drink

Regulates blood sugar, improves gut health, and prevents acidity

Ingredients:

  • 1 apple (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

How to Prepare:

  1. Blend the apple with warm water.
  2. Strain and mix in cinnamon and lemon juice.
  3. Drink in the morning or as an evening snack.
